About Me
Dr. Vivienne Sinh Hau is a vitreoretinal physician and surgeon at the Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. She provides specialized care for retinal conditions, utilizing the latest technology and treatments. Dr. Hau is committed to making patients feel comfortable from their first visit, taking time to educate them about their eye health and addressing any concerns with a dedicated team.
She earned her M.D.-Ph.D. from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Utah Medical Center. Her vitreoretinal surgical training was at Texas Retina Associates, one of the largest private-academic retinal practices in the country. Dr. Hau is a reviewer for the Retina journal and serves on the Board of the American Society of Retinal Specialists.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Hau values family, enjoys traveling, and runs marathons to stay healthy. She believes in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and she volunteers her time to academic societies and committees to improve patient care for the broader community.
