About Me
Dr. Vivien Tham is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, external diseases, refractive surgery, and uveitis. She completed her residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute and a fellowship at the Francis I. Proctor Foundation, where she gained advanced training in complex corneal and refractive conditions.
With a passion for ophthalmology that shines through in every patient interaction, Dr. Tham has performed thousands of cataract and refractive surgeries. She is known for her genuine, compassionate approach and treats every patient with the same level of care and surgical excellence she would offer her own family.
In addition to her busy clinical practice, Dr. Tham serves as an assistant clinical professor at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, training the next generation of ophthalmologists. She also actively researches the latest innovations in surgical techniques and technology through collaborations with leading academic centers.
