About Me
Dr. Viet Bui is a board-certified ophthalmologist with dual fellowship training in glaucoma and cornea. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of advanced glaucoma and corneal diseases, using premium implants with intraoperative ORA technology to help patients achieve spectacle independence. His expertise includes small incision cataract surgery and advanced corneal transplantation techniques like DMEK, DSEK, and PK.
Dr. Bui is an active educator who volunteers his time as a clinical instructor for the TMH Family Practice Residency and Veterans Administration Optometric Residency. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Cornea Society, and American Glaucoma Society.
Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Dr. Bui graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Nutrition and Zoology before completing his medical education at the University of Florida with honors. He is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
