About Me
Dr. Tyler Olson is a board-eligible ophthalmologist with extensive experience in comprehensive eye care. He specializes in cataract and refractive surgery and glaucoma management, demonstrating a strong dedication to patient-centered care. Dr. Olson is passionate about improving vision and enhancing quality of life for every patient he serves.
He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas and completed his residency at Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island, New York. Dr. Olson recently completed an anterior segment and refractive surgery fellowship at Hoopes Vision in Draper, Utah. He is currently practicing at Cokingtin Eye Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Olson enjoys hiking and visiting national parks with his wife and four children. He is a classically trained pianist and an avid sports fan. At Cokingtin Eye Center, he is part of a team dedicated to providing excellent eye care and exceptional surgical results for patients and their families.
