About Me
Dr. Tyler Boulter is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who offers cataract surgery, LASIK, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma care, and MIGS. He aims to match each patient’s goals with the safest, most effective treatment—whether that’s a premium cataract lens option or vision correction to reduce dependence on glasses. Fluent in Spanish, he welcomes the chance to communicate in a patient’s preferred language and values clear, down-to-earth explanations.
Dr. Boulter completed medical school at Texas A&M and ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin, where he served as chief resident. His earlier training includes a transitional year at Riverside Community Hospital in California and undergraduate studies in Public Health at BYU. He has been recognized among Portland’s Top Doctors and volunteers as team Eye Physician for the Portland Timbers and Thorns. Outside clinic, he enjoys time with his family and exploring Oregon.
