Dr. Kelly Chung

Dr. Chung brings over two decades of experience to her ophthalmology practice, with particular expertise in complex cataract surgery and advanced lens implant technology. She treats patients for a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetes, and has a special focus on dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction. She previously served as lead cataract surgeon and Director of Comprehensive Ophthalmology at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health & Science University for 14 years before joining Oregon Eye Specialists.

Dr. Chung earned her medical degree and completed her ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University. She has taught comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery to dozens of residents and has instructed eye surgeons around the world in new surgical techniques. Her dedication to patient care has been recognized by Portland Monthly magazine, which named her one of Portland's top doctors for three consecutive years.
