Dr. Tran Nguyen

Dr. Tran Nguyen is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma and refractive cataract surgery. She provides comprehensive eye care, including routine eye exams and evaluations for conditions such as cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. Her expertise includes performing advanced glaucoma procedures like laser treatments, filtering surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Nguyen earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. She attended medical school at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her ophthalmology residency at Michigan State University, and pursued further specialization through a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Fluent in Vietnamese, Dr. Nguyen is dedicated to serving diverse patient populations. She is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. Outside of her clinical practice, she volunteers to provide eye care to underserved communities, such as through vision screening initiatives.
