Dr. Steven Mckinley

Dr. Steven McKinley is a board-certified ophthalmologist, surgeon, and glaucoma specialist at the Eye Institute of Austin. He provides medical and surgical management for glaucoma, cataract surgery, and comprehensive evaluation of general eye diseases. He treats patients with a range of eye conditions, with a special focus on glaucoma and cataracts.

Dr. McKinley completed his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Michigan, and his ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He began his career in private practice in Raleigh, North Carolina, before joining the Eye Institute of Austin. He has been recognized as a Texas Super Doctor by his peers and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. McKinley has experience in international medicine, having lived in Southeast Asia and worked in Singapore during his formative years.
