Dr. Todd Christensen

Dr. Todd R. Christensen is an ophthalmology resident physician at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He holds both an MD and OD and is part of the Preliminary – Ophthalmology track within the UW Department of Medicine before continuing ophthalmology residency training at UW–Madison. Dr. Christensen’s background in both medicine and optometry informs a thorough, practical approach to eye care, from careful refractions and ocular surface evaluation to the detection of cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. He values clear communication and patient education, and he works within the UW Health team to coordinate care and ensure smooth follow-up. A native of Richland, Washington, and a graduate of the Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, he looks forward to caring for patients in the Madison area and helping them understand their options to maintain comfortable, healthy vision.
