Dr. Jacob Abou-Hanna

Dr. Cole Rojas is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides medical and surgical eye care, including cataract, glaucoma, oculoplastic, and medical retina services. Born in Beloit, Wisconsin, he studied neuroscience and economics at Stanford University, graduating with honors, and then completed a joint MD/MBA program at Stanford. Dr. Rojas went on to a general surgery internship at Northwestern University in Chicago, followed by ophthalmology residency at Northwestern, where he gained advanced experience in cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and retinal laser and injection therapies. At Ophthalmology Associates in Greenfield, he offers both standard and premium lens cataract surgery, treats retinal diseases such as macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, and performs oculoplastic procedures for a variety of eyelid disorders. Patients value his broad skill set and his ability to explain complex options in approachable language, helping them choose personalized treatment plans that prioritize both vision and comfort.

Dr. Rachael Lyerla is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who offers routine and surgical eye care for patients in Eau Claire. She has a special interest in modern cataract surgery and presbyopia-correcting lens implants, and she enjoys helping people choose a personalized plan that fits their visual goals for reading, driving, and daily life. Patients value her calm, down-to-earth explanations and the time she spends answering questions before and after surgery. Dr. Lyerla earned her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed her ophthalmology residency at Washington University in St. Louis. Before medical school, she studied at Vanderbilt University and worked in health technology, experience that informs her clear communication and streamlined care. Outside the clinic she enjoys the outdoors and exploring the Chippewa Valley with her family. She looks forward to welcoming new patients and helping them see their best.

Dr. Gregory Sovinski is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who helps patients manage cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye and other causes of vision loss. He provides eye and vision care tailored to each person’s health, lifestyle and goals. “I think it is very important to fully explore my patients’ concerns and tailor solutions to address their individual unique health, lifestyle, and needs,” he says, reflecting a thoughtful, collaborative approach to care.  Dr. Sovinski earned his undergraduate degrees at the University of Wisconsin and his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed an internship at the Medical College of Wisconsin–St. Joseph’s Campus and an ophthalmology residency at Ohio State University Hospitals.
