Dr. Timothy Nguyen

Timothy Nguyen, M.D., pronounced "Win," is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to providing advanced eye care. He specializes in cataract surgery, laser procedures, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, using the latest technology to help patients achieve exceptional vision. Dr. Nguyen treats a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and astigmatism, with a focus on enabling patients to enjoy the activities they value most in life.

Dr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science degree magna cum laude from Virginia Tech and his Doctor of Medicine from the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, where he was the first student to match into an ophthalmology residency. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville and also trained at the Jacksonville Naval Air Station for refractive surgery. Throughout his career, he has mentored numerous medical students pursuing ophthalmology.

In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys weight-lifting, fishing, cycling, and spending quality time with his wife Erin and son Matteo. His commitment to patient care and continuous learning ensures that his patients receive compassionate and cutting-edge treatment.
