Meet Dr. Theodore T Wu

Dr. Theodore T. Wu is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and refractive surgery. He provides care for a range of vision needs, including LASIK and laser-assisted cataract surgery, and treats general eye conditions at the Virginia Eye Institute.

Dr. Wu earned his Doctorate of Medicine and Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University (MCV) in Richmond. He served as Chief Resident at the Medical College of Virginia and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
