About Me
Dr. Timothy A. Walline is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Sabates Eye Centers, where he provides care for patients in the Kansas City area. He specializes in cataract surgery and also serves as a faculty member at the UMKC School of Medicine, where he has been an assistant professor of ophthalmology since 1994 and directs general ophthalmology services. Dr. Walline is particularly dedicated to teaching cataract surgery to resident physicians at the Eye Foundation.
In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Walline has participated in missionary eye care in underdeveloped countries. He earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the UMKC School of Medicine, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Walline has been recognized with Teacher of the Year awards from the UMKC Department of Ophthalmology.
