Dr. John Kunzeman

Dr. John Mitchell Kunzeman, known as Mitch, is an ophthalmology resident at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Clemson University. Dr. Kunzeman returned to Illinois for medical school, graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Kunzeman is training in comprehensive ophthalmology, learning to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions. He is part of the UMKC Ophthalmology Residency program, which provides extensive clinical and surgical experience in eye care. In his free time, he enjoys golf, exploring local restaurants and breweries, and is an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Clemson Tigers college football.
