About Me

Thomas “Taylor” T. Coleman, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He provides complete medical and surgical eye care for adults, including the evaluation and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and common retinal and corneal conditions. Dr. Coleman is known for a practical, down-to-earth style and for partnering closely with patients to match testing and treatment to individual needs.

A Jackson native, Dr. Coleman earned his medical degree at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he received the Brenda Joy Nicholson, MD Scholarship and was recognized as a Medical Student Research Scholar. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at UMMC and now cares for patients while teaching the next generation of physicians. Outside the clinic, he enjoys brewing espresso, reading, and time with his family.
