Dr. Kevin Mays

Dr. Kevin M. Mays is an ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care and ocular trauma. He practices at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he serves as an Associate Director and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology. He also provides care as a staff ophthalmologist at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center.

Dr. Mays is dedicated to patient-centered care and strives to provide complete eyecare to the patients of Mississippi and the surrounding areas. He is board certified in ophthalmology and has a focus on treating eye injuries and trauma.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Mays is passionate about teaching and has been recognized with the UMMC Department of Ophthalmology Teacher of the Year Award. He and his family have chosen to make their home in the Jackson metro area, where he is committed to serving the community.
