About Me
Dr. Thomas Lang is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and diseases of the anterior segment of the eye. He provides comprehensive primary care ophthalmology at The Rhode Island Eye Institute, treating a wide range of eye conditions.
Dr. Lang is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. He was previously recognized as Outstanding Physician at Harvard Pilgrim Health Plan in 1996.
Dr. Lang earned his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed an internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital and a residency in ophthalmology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, both in New York City.
