Dr. Thomas Rice

Dr. Thomas J. Rice is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing care to patients in the Woodbury and Eagan areas. He is certified in LASIK and VISX® procedures, and he treats a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Rice performs cataract surgery and refractive surgery such as LASIK to help improve vision.

Dr. Rice completed his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School, followed by an internship at Hennepin County Medical Center and a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. He also holds a graduate degree in microbiology from the University of North Dakota. Dr. Rice is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
