Dr. Thomas Wohl

Dr. Thomas Wohl is an experienced cataract and LASIK surgeon at Roholt Vision Institute. His knowledge of eye care extends to the treatment of many other eye conditions including glaucoma, retinal vascular disease, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. He has initiated a Retina Clinic at the institute to treat patients with macular degeneration and other retina problems.

Dr. Wohl completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of California, San Francisco and later served three years as Chief of Ophthalmology Services at the Mather Air Force Base Hospital in Sacramento, where he was honored with the Meritorious Service Medal. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Wohl has been recognized throughout his career for his contributions to patient care and to the community at large. He has been involved in promoting children’s writing and literacy and has been a favorite speaker to both medical and community senior citizen groups.
