Meet Dr. Tarra Wright Millender

Dr. Tarra W. Millender is an ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. She offers comprehensive care including medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma, as well as comfort cataract surgery and advanced technology replacement lenses. Dr. Millender also performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and YAG laser capsulotomy for patients who have undergone cataract surgery.

Dr. Millender sees patients at Carolina Eye Associates locations in Fayetteville, Pinehurst/Southern Pines, and Sanford, North Carolina. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Millender completed her medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine, followed by an internship and ophthalmology residency at Duke University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. She then pursued fellowship training in glaucoma diseases at the Duke Eye Center.
