About Me
Dr. Tara Bryant is an ophthalmologist who discovered her passion for eye care while working with Unite for Sight, an organization focused on global health. This experience highlighted the significant impact of vision loss on patients' lives, inspiring her to pursue a career in ophthalmology. She completed her undergraduate studies in Human Biology at Harvard University and earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Bryant specializes in cataract surgery and is fellowship-trained in medical retina, managing conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachments. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care at Kaiser Permanente, where she aims to achieve dramatic improvements through precise interventions. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is currently accepting new patients by referral.
In her personal time, Dr. Bryant is an accomplished runner, having been a Division 1 cross-country and track athlete and completed the Boston Marathon. Her athletic discipline complements her meticulous approach to patient care.
