Dr. Tanvi Shah

Dr. Tanvi Shah is a board-certified ophthalmologist at the Eye Center at GBMC. She provides comprehensive eye care, including the diagnosis and management of conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Shah is a cataract surgeon and has been featured in the media discussing glaucoma prevention and cataract surgery.

Dr. Shah earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and then an ophthalmology residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. Her training and experience have prepared her to offer a wide range of ophthalmic services.

Prior to joining GBMC, Dr. Shah worked as a comprehensive ophthalmologist in private practice and has been involved in research for various laboratories. She is dedicated to providing patient-centered care and helping her patients maintain their vision and eye health.
