About Me
Dr. Tania Marcic is an ophthalmologist at Levin Eyecare, where she serves as medical director. She provides a wide range of ophthalmic services, with expertise in cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and macular degeneration treatment. Her surgical skills also include intraocular lens (IOL) implantation, and she treats various retinal conditions.
Dr. Marcic received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed an internship at Mount Sinai at Elmhurst Hospital Center. She pursued ophthalmology residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers in New York and furthered her training with a glaucoma subspecialty fellowship at George Washington University. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains memberships in professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Glaucoma Society.
