About Me
Dr. Yanovitch is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. She specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, as well as adult strabismus. Her special interests include amblyopia, eye muscle surgery, double vision, pediatric glaucoma, and caring for children with special needs.
She has served as a clinical professor and director of medical student education. Dr. Yanovitch has earned multiple awards for her teaching and contributions to the field, including the M. Dewayne Andrews, MD Excellence in Teaching Award in Graduate Medical Education. She has also been involved with the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Yanovitch completed her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and her residency at Dean McGee Eye Institute. She pursued fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Duke University, where she later served on the faculty before returning to Oklahoma.
