About Me
Dr. Maria E. Lim is a pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus specialist who cares for children and families with vision and eye alignment concerns. Her special interests include amblyopia, eye misalignment, pediatric cataract, and pediatric glaucoma, and she enjoys building long-lasting relationships with patients and their families while treating conditions that may be managed medically and surgically.
Dr. Lim grew up in Ohio and attended medical school at Northeast Ohio Medical University. She completed ophthalmology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and then advanced training with a Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus fellowship at Duke University. She chose to practice at Dean McGee Eye Institute because of the department’s dedication to patient care and its “family feel.”
