Dr. Syeda Sumara Taranum Basith

Dr. Syeda Sumara Taranum Basith is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for children with complex eye conditions, from infancy through adolescence. Her clinical interests include strabismus, pediatric cataracts and glaucoma, and retinopathy of prematurity, with expertise in laser and injection therapies when indicated. A dedicated educator and researcher, she has taught residents and authored peer-reviewed work on pediatric eye disease and surgical outcomes. Dr. Basith completed back-to-back clinical fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Ann & Robert H.
