Meet Dr. Ronni M Chen

Dr. Ronni Chen is a pediatric ophthalmologist who has been providing specialized eye care for children in the Tampa Bay area since 1997. She is dedicated to creating a child-friendly environment to ease the anxiety of young patients and their parents, with exam rooms equipped with toys and a waiting room that includes a playroom and movies.

Her clinical expertise includes strabismus, common vision disorders, eye injuries, and eye diseases in children. Dr. Chen completed her medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and her ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She then pursued advanced fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine.

At Florida Eye Specialists and Cataract Institute, Dr. Chen and her specially trained staff focus on comprehensive, stress-free eye exams and treatment for a wide range of pediatric eye conditions.
