Dr. Steven Shields

Dr. Steven Shields is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing comprehensive eye care through SLUCare Physician Group at SSM Health. He sees patients at his clinic located at 1225 S. Grand Blvd. in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Shields earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.

He completed his residency and a fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, followed by an additional fellowship at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary. He also completed an internship at E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital. Dr. Shields is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
