Dr. Stephen Solomon

Board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Stephen M. Solomon provides comprehensive eye care to patients in the Bowie and Greenbelt, Maryland areas. With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Solomon has performed thousands of successful cataract and lens replacement surgeries.

He specializes in cataract surgery, LASIK, and other refractive lens procedures to improve vision and reduce dependence on glasses. Dr. Solomon is dedicated to helping patients understand their options and feel at ease throughout their treatment journey. He has held leadership roles as Chief of Ophthalmology at Doctors Community Hospital and Dimensions Surgical Center, and has served as chief ophthalmic consultant to the University of Maryland Department of Athletics. Dr. Solomon is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
