Dr. Ranjan has particular expertise in corneal transplantation—including PK, DSEK, and DMEK—along with intraocular lens exchange and other complex anterior segment procedures. She also evaluates and treats dry eye disease and provides thoughtful, individualized surgical planning focused on safety, vision quality, and long-term outcomes.

Before joining UNC, Dr. Ranjan completed ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center and a Cornea and External Disease fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in New York.
