Dr. Shawn Sell

Dr. Anna Bender is an ophthalmology physician who cares for patients in Eau Claire and Menomonie, Wisconsin. She takes a warm, patient-centered approach and uses evidence-based medicine to tailor treatment to each person’s needs. Her clinical interests include cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology. She earned her M.B.B.S. from GS Medical College & King Edward Memorial Hospital in Mumbai and completed an ophthalmology residency at TN Medical College & BYL Nair Hospital. She pursued advanced fellowships in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Emory University and Mayo Clinic, followed by fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include strabismus, amblyopia, double vision, and optic nerve disorders. Dr. Mansukhani’s visits emphasize education, shared decision-making, and coordination with other specialists when needed, and she remains active in research and teaching to bring proven approaches to patient care.

Dr. Jennifer L. Garvey is an ophthalmologist who believes the best eye care starts with listening. Patients can expect a thorough evaluation, clear explanations, and shared decision-making so they understand their diagnosis and feel confident about next steps. She emphasizes patient education and thoughtful treatment planning tailored to each person’s goals. Dr. Garvey earned her medical degree at Ohio State University Medical School and completed ophthalmology residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. In the clinic, she focuses on small-incision cataract surgery, basic nonorbital oculoplastics, and comprehensive care for a wide range of ocular conditions, with attention to long-term eye health and prevention.
