Dr. Scott Piette

Dr. Scott Piette is a board-certified, fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon practicing at LO Eye Care in East Lansing, Michigan. He focuses on optimizing visual outcomes for patients with glaucoma, particularly those undergoing combined cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Dr. Piette also specializes in the latest advances in lens technology to improve vision for cataract patients.

Dr. Piette completed his medical training at Midwestern University and his residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Wills Eye Hospital. He pursued additional fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, as well as a research fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. His work includes studies on optic nerve health and pressure changes. Dr. Piette is an active member of several professional organizations and has contributed to academic ophthalmology through numerous presentations and publications.
