About Me
Dr. Scott Kelly is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, refractive surgery, and the treatment of corneal diseases. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, reflecting his commitment to the highest standards of eye care.
Dr. Kelly completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University, graduating Magna cum Laude. He then earned his Doctorate of Medicine and a Master’s of Public Health at the University of Texas – Houston Medical School. After a medical internship at the same institution, he completed his ophthalmology residency at the Cullen Eye Institute of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He further honed his skills through a subspecialty fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Kelly is an active member of the Austin community, including the Travis County Medical Society and the Austin Ophthalmology Society. He enjoys cooking, archery hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
