About Me
Sanjay G. Asrani, MD, is a glaucoma specialist and ophthalmologist at Duke Health. He treats patients with glaucoma and cataracts using evidence-based medical treatments, lasers, and surgery. Dr. Asrani utilizes the latest imaging techniques to detect glaucoma and its progression at the earliest stages. His research interests include technologies that may help prevent the onset and progression of glaucoma, and he participates in clinical trials for emerging treatments.
Dr. Asrani is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Duke and has completed fellowship training in glaucoma as well as a research fellowship. He provides care for adult patients at the Duke Eye Center of Cary.
