Dr. Sanford Meyers

Dr. Sanford M. Meyers is an ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of retina and vitreous disorders. He sees patients at Retina Consultants, Ltd in Des Plaines and Libertyville, Illinois, and is affiliated with Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Meyers is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and accepts new patients.

Dr. Meyers completed his medical degree at the University of Chicago, followed by a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Florida Hospitals. He then pursued fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Prior to his residency, he completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Georgia Hospitals.
