Dr. Samuel Homra

Dr. Samuel Homra is a board-eligible ophthalmologist with advanced fellowship training in glaucoma and corneal surgery. A Jacksonville native, he is proud to care for patients close to home and is known for clear communication, thoughtful counseling, and careful attention to comfort before, during, and after surgery.

Dr. Homra earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He then pursued dual fellowship training in glaucoma and corneal surgery at Your Eye Specialists in Fort Lauderdale, gaining extensive experience in modern cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens options, LASIK, and corneal transplantation. He partners closely with optometrists and primary care physicians to deliver coordinated, timely care for both urgent and chronic eye conditions.
