About Me
Dr. Samra Hashmi is an ophthalmologist at Spectrum Eye Institute who specializes in intraocular lens implant surgery, corneal transplant surgery, and refractive or laser vision corrective surgery. She treats patients with nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and cataracts, and performs cataract surgery using premium multifocal implants with a no-stitch, no-patch technique.
Dr. Hashmi earned her medical degree from The Aga Khan University and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She completed a fellowship in refractive surgery and cornea at the Cole Eye Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She is board certified in ophthalmology and is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
