Meet Dr. Robin Ray
About Me
Dr. Robin Ray is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal diseases. He sees patients at multiple Georgia Eye Institute locations, including Savannah, Bluffton, Statesboro, Hinesville, and Pooler. His expertise covers a broad spectrum of retinal conditions, from common diseases to complex surgical cases.
Dr. Ray completed his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as chief resident, and advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery and disease at Emory University. He has a strong research background in novel retinal imaging and treatments, with multiple publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. He is on staff at Memorial Health University Medical Center and St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System.
