Dr. Klein is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing general medical ophthalmology with a special interest in the medical and laser treatment of glaucoma. He treats a range of eye conditions including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal breaks, and performs procedures such as iridotomies, YAG capsulotomies, and intravitreal injections.

Dr. Klein serves as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at NYU Medical Center and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He previously served as director of ophthalmology at Goldwater Hospital for over 20 years and has been a consultant to a major pharmaceutical company, as well as the ophthalmology consultant for the Emmy award-winning ABC television show For Your Information.
