Dr. Barry Belgorod

Dr. Belgorod is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care. His practice focuses on cataract surgery, laser vision correction, medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, laser treatment of retinal breaks, corneal transplant surgery, and specialty contact lenses. He also offers comprehensive eye exams and second opinions.

Dr. Belgorod has been in private practice since 1981 and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Life Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He has admitting privileges at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and serves as an attending surgeon at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.

In addition to clinical care, Dr. Belgorod holds multiple patents for ophthalmic devices and has been involved in research on laser vision correction and ocular pain. He speaks English, Spanish, Greek, and Serbo-Croatian.
