Dr. Norman Charles

Dr. Norman C. Charles is an ophthalmologist affiliated with NYU Langone Health, treating adults. He sees patients for a variety of eye conditions including glaucoma, dry eye disease, conjunctivitis, presbyopia, and refractive error.

As a Clinical Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in both Ophthalmology and Pathology, Dr. Charles's research focuses on clinicopathologic correlation of ocular disorders, with a particular interest in ocular tumors. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and completed his residency and fellowship at NYU Medical Center. With decades of experience since receiving his MD from New York University in 1963, Dr. Charles brings extensive expertise to his comprehensive ophthalmology practice.
