Dr. Robert Brass

Dr. Robert Brass is an ophthalmologist at Albany Med Health System who specializes in cataract surgery and corneal conditions. He works closely with Albany Medical College's ophthalmology residents and has a particular interest in teaching cataract surgery.

Dr. Brass has been recognized for his dedication to resident education with the department's Golden Apple award. His research has also been awarded 'Best of Session' at the annual meeting of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and he has been named a top physician by several publications. Dr. Brass completed a cornea fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, where he also earned his medical degree. He completed his residency training at New York Medical College.
