About Me
Dr. Robert Broderick is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, comprehensive ophthalmology, and glaucoma treatment. He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Broderick then completed a fellowship in cataract and laser surgery with Dr. Charles Bechert in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Broderick currently serves as an attending ophthalmologist at St. Francis Hospital and Island Eye Surgicenter. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has held leadership positions in several professional societies, including vice president of the New York State Ophthalmological Society and past president of the Long Island Ophthalmological Society, the Nassau County Academy of Medicine Section on Ophthalmology, and the New York Keratorefractive Society. He has also shared his expertise in laser vision correction as a lecturer both nationally and internationally.
