About Me
Dr. Robert Hyde practices in the Department of Ophthalmology at UI Health, specializing in the diagnosis and management of inherited retinal diseases and vitreoretinal disorders. He employs a comprehensive, team-based approach to retinal disease care, with an active interest in preclinical studies and clinical trials, including gene therapy for inherited retinal diseases.
His clinical interests also include diabetic retinopathy, macular pucker and macular holes, central serous chorioretinopathy, and complications following cataract surgery. Dr. Hyde is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and completed his fellowship at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center.
