About Me
Dr. Richard Corey is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist who treats a range of vitreoretinal conditions. His clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, complex retinal detachments, uveitis, retinopathy of prematurity, and ocular oncology.
Dr. Corey completed his medical training at the University of Utah School of Medicine and pursued residency training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the top-ranked ophthalmology program in the country. He then completed a vitreoretinal fellowship at Washington University/Barnes Retina Institute.
He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and the Utah Ophthalmology Society.
