About Me
Dr. Richard L. Deluca is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and laser cataract and refractive surgeon at OCLI Vision. He provides care for a broad range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, and corneal disorders. Dr. Deluca performs advanced procedures such as laser cataract surgery, LASIK, and PRK, and also treats oculoplastic issues like chalazion and eyelid lesions.
Dr. Deluca graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a degree in biology and earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He completed an internal medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he served as chief resident. He is a recipient of the William H. and Judith Turner Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology and holds appointments as Associate Adjunct and Attending Surgeon at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
