About Me
Dr. Isenberg has built a life and career deeply connected to Arizona, where he has resided for over two decades with his wife Liz, celebrating 48 years of marriage and raising a son. His commitment to the community is rooted in a long-standing personal and professional dedication.
His path to medicine began with a degree in Molecular Biology from San Jose State University, followed by research on new antibiotics for Valley Fever. Inspired to pursue medicine, he earned his medical degree from the University of Utah in 1985. During medical school, his laboratory work on intraocular lenses for cataract surgery contributed directly to advancements in lens design used today.
Dr. Isenberg completed specialized training in Ophthalmology at the University of Utah and the Ochsner Medical Foundation. He is a board certified ophthalmologist with a focused interest in eyelid reconstructive and cosmetic surgery. Additionally, he provides comprehensive care for a wide array of medical eye conditions, including dry eyes, infections, allergies, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. He is proud to be part of Buena Vista Ophthalmologists and looks forward to serving his patients.
