About Me

Dr. Richard Cohn is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist who has been practicing in the Orlando area since 1996. He specializes in laser no-stitch cataract surgery and is recognized as one of the most skilled cataract surgeons in Central Florida. Dr. Cohn treats a range of eye conditions, with a particular focus on glaucoma and cataracts. He has performed over 20,000 cataract and glaucoma surgeries throughout his career.

Dr. Cohn earned his medical degree at New York Medical College and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Eye and Ear Institute of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. He is actively involved in the ophthalmology community and has served as President of the Central Florida Society of Ophthalmology as well as Medical Director of the Orlando Ophthalmology Surgery Center.
