About Me
Dr. Reza Iranmanesh is a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon at Vantage Eye Center, where he has been caring for patients across Monterey and Salinas since 2010. As one of the practice’s dedicated retina specialists, he focuses on advanced diagnosis and treatment aimed at preserving and restoring sight.
Dr. Iranmanesh received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his medical degree from Saint Louis University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado and a two-year vitreo-retinal surgical fellowship at Columbia University's Harkness Eye Institute. After his fellowship, he was invited to join the full-time faculty at Columbia University, where he worked for four years as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology.
Dr. Iranmanesh is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He maintains hospital privileges at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. Outside of the clinic and operating room, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and their three children.
