About Me

Dr. Reena A. Garg is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma and cataract surgeon who provides comprehensive eye care. She is highly respected for her expertise in all aspects of medical, laser, and surgical treatment for glaucoma, and she is also an accomplished cataract surgeon offering routine and laser-assisted refractive cataract surgery. Dr. Garg performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS) in conjunction with cataract surgery for patients with glaucoma, and she is among the first in the area to offer iDose® TR for glaucoma treatment.

Dr. Garg completed her medical education at Drexel University School of Medicine, her internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center, her ophthalmology residency as Chief Resident at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and a prestigious glaucoma fellowship at Columbia University in New York City. She currently serves as the Ophthalmology Residency Program Director at Georgetown University.
